CSU condemns assault of 10-year-old boy
KOHIMA, AUGUST 20 (MExN): The Chiechama Students’ Union (CSU) has condemned the alleged physical assault of a 10-year-old boy, who is a member of the union, by a 38-year-old man serving as a warden at a private hostel in Chiephobozou town.In a statement issued on August 20, the CSU described the incident as “deeply disturbing and unacceptable”, particularly as the accused was entrusted with the care, supervision and safety of students. “No form of discipline can justify physically assaulting or harming a child,” the CSU stated.
